My name is Sharon, I am a Flemish singer-songwriter and musician .
As long as I can remember I have been making music!

At the age of 9 I had my very first big stage experience :-).
At the time I was part of Helmut Lotti's children's choir.
We performed the song 'I Am Sailing' in the Sports Palace of Antwep, the Grand Place in Brussels and on the stage of Tien Om Te Zien in Blankenberge.
After this first big stage experience I was sure that music was my biggest passion and I wanted to delve into it!

As a little kid I discovered the piano thanks to my dad. He also plays the piano, but rather as a hobby.
I was so captivated I tried playing it almost every day. Around this time I also discovered the wonderful world of Disney and I happily sang along with all of the songs.
Secretly I think I know almost all of them by heart!
In my teens I sang at a wedding for the first time!
Little did I know back then that this would later become part of my job :-).
I was also part of the choir of the music academy, where I had the honor of singing a solo several times.
My music composition "Within" was also performed by the choir.
Fastforward to a couple of years later!
On my 13th birthday my grandparents gifted me a guitar and I was so happy with it!!
Aroun this age I wrote my very first song called "Piece Of My Journey".
Every now and then I performed at local events and I would bring my piano or guitar to accompany myself with.
In the meantime, I also studied music theory and took singing and piano classes s at the Academy of Music. I did this until I was 17 years old.
At the age of 18 I graduated from high school and obtained my diploma in Economics-Modern Languages.
I also passed the entrance exam at the conservatory in Ghent (KASK) and started the course 'Creating Music: Music Production'.
During this training I learned more about recording, mixing and mastering songs, performing live, songwriting, writing arrangements, music harmony, writing for big bands and more.
I obtained my diploma and after it I decided to do a Bachelor after bachelor training at the Artevelde University College in Music Therapy.
The Scala Era!
From 2015 up to and including 2020 I was part of the international girls choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers as a professional 2nd soprano.
What a blissful experience this was! Scala has given me a lot of stage opportunities and brought back great memories. Thanks to Scala, I was able to experience Night Of The Proms in the Sportpaleis, as well as performances at home and abroad (including German tours), radio shows, performances in AB next to Regi, large stages at festivals and so much more.

A leap of faith!
In 2019 I finally became partially self-employed. One of the best decisions I ever made in my life!
What I did before as a hobby and passion, now also partly became my profession <3.
Ever since 2019 you can spot me almost weekly at weddings, business events, festivals, private parties and other occasions to provide live music.
In addition, I write songs, toplines, compositions and arrangements, and I create demos for clients.
I also provide singing, piano and music lessons and I am active as a session musician for external projects.
The future!
At the moment I am still fully engaged in performing, writing songs, teaching and other freelance assignments!
In addition, I am also working on finishing my own songs so that I can also release them in the future.
The absolute dream? Being able to turn my creative passion into my profession and that's what I'm working towards! :-)
In August 2021 I was on the stage of "De Zomer Van Puurs-Sint-Amands" as a supporting act for DE MENS.
Also a very nice experience and opportunity where I could perform my my original songs in front of a large audience.
The future!

In addition, I am also working on finishing my own songs so that I can also release them in the future.
